iPhotoDraw is a Windows tool for annotating personal photos with text blocks, arrows and geometric shapes. It is possible to save modifications as separate layers, leaving the original picture unaltered. The list of supported input formats includes JPEG, PNG, BMP and TIFF.

Annotation capabilities

After starting the program users are instructed to import the source image by dragging and dropping it into the main workspace. The next step is to add all the necessary text notes, captions, callout boxes and other visual elements. Moreover, there is an option to insert different shapes into the photo, including:

Rectangles;
Triangles;
Circles, etc.

Tools for tweaking the color, size and style of the main font are provided. You can select the desired typeface from the drop down list.

Graphics editing

Like in Pictureflect, there are basic instruments to modify imported pictures. Users are able to flip, rotate and resize the canvas. Additionally, it is easy to adjust the output brightness and contrast to enhance image quality. Several artistic filters like sepia, grayscale and emboss are included as well.
