InterActual Player is a Windows application for opening DVD-Video discs. You can change the visual appearance of the interface by applying custom skins.

Main functionality

This software allows you to automatically start a movie when the compatible disc is inserted. It is possible to navigate through the DVD menu for jumping to the specific moments of the video. Moreover, you can switch on the subtitles and select another audiotrack if it is available.

The playback controls allow users to quickly start the next chapter as well as adjust the sound volume or mute it. The fullscreen mode is provided. There is a tool for taking a screenshot of the current video frame and saving it to the hard drive in the JPG or GIF file format.

Please note that InterActual Player is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. You can watch any DVD movie in VLC Media Player.

Configuration

Users are able to select the default system video player in the settings. Additionally, it is possible to check the web for the available software updates and automatically download them.

There are several supported DVD navigation methods such as DirectShow, Mediamatics, Quadrant/Ravisent and Sigma Designs. These parameters are oriented toward experienced users.
