This small utility allows you to stress test the stability and temperature of any computer processor from Intel or AMD. The results are displayed in real time.
IntelBurnTest
IntelBurnTest is a Windows program for evaluating the CPU performance. It is possible to select different testing profiles and save the results in a text file.
How it works
Users can select the amount of test cycles that will be performed. Additionally, there is a drop-down menu for choosing the number of processor threads that will be utilized during the evaluation.
Several stress levels are available:
- maximum;
- very high;
- high;
- standard;
- custom.
These parameters determine how much RAM will be used for the operation. It is possible to specify the amount manually by using the custom setting.
Results
You can mark the checkbox for outputting the test report in a log file that can be opened in AbiWord or any other word processing software. Moreover, the results are displayed in real time in the main window during the evaluation.
It is important to mention that this application is intended for applying the maximum amount of stress to the processor and the system as a whole. This operation will result in a very high temperature of all main computer components. Adequate CPU cooling is required for performing the test, otherwise the system may crash.
