InstruCalc Instrument Sizing is a Windows application for estimating various water flow parameters. You can calculate required valve and pipe sizes. Moreover, it is possible to measure potential noise levels. There is support for both metric and imperial units.

Included instruments

The main window consists of four buttons for calculating various water flow properties:

control valves;
flow elements;
relief devices;
miscellaneous.

Users can open the first module to estimate the flowrate and configure valve attributes. It is possible to calculate overall system pressure loss as well. There is a toggle for switching between the liquid, gas and two-phase modes. Valve design and size are customizable.

This software offers you instruments for measuring various flow parameters for any liquid or gas. Options for specifying the density, viscosity, molecular weight and other chemical properties of the substance are available.

It is worth mentioning that InstruCalc Instrument Sizing does not contain a database of standard pipe diameters. However, users can download PipeData PRO to access this information.

Relief valve sizing

There are instruments for calculating critical pressure levels. You are able to select the type and amount of valves. After flow emulation the program will display required sizes for all piping equipment.
