Inforad Manager is a Windows software that lets you upload new maps and speed camera databases on GPS hardware from Inforad. There is support for several device models intended for cars, motorbikes and other vehicles.

How to install

It is necessary to disconnect the GPS module from the computer before setting up this program. After the installation process is complete users can run the executable file to begin configuring the hardware. Supported models include Inforad K1, K2 and K3.

The next step is to turn on the device and connect it to the PC via USB cable. You are able to establish a link by clicking the Start button in the main window.

It is worth noting that Inforad Manager supports only first-party hardware. To manage Magellan GPS receivers users can download MobileMapper Office.

Configuration

There are multiple adjustable hardware settings. The approach and departure distance for speed camera alarms is customizable. Moreover, it is possible to enable the onboard trip recorder and download previously logged data from it. You can diagnose technical issues and software errors.

An option to download a fresh version of the speed camera database and transfer it to the GPS device is available. This application offers users tools for creating and managing personal points of interest as well.
