iMod Factory Tools is a Windows software for designing detailed 3D objects. It is intended for developing new equipment and planning factory layouts. There is support for several export file formats like STL, OBJ, VRML and DXF.

Project creation

Similar to Autodesk 3ds Max, users can create complex 3D shapes with the help of the included drawing instruments. The interpolation tool automatically fills the gaps between individual objects and generates smooth surfaces.

There is a library of predefined models that can be dragged and dropped into the workspace. The Property Editor window lets you change the color, texture, material and other attributes of any object. Moreover, it is possible to organize multiple models into layers and groups in the Scee Manager section.

Please note that iMod Factory Tools is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Simulation

This program offers users tools for testing the functionality of the project by applying forces, torques, collisions and other physical effects to the model. This functionality is helpful for simulating equipment workcycle and identifying performance bottlenecks or other problems.
