iMesh is a Windows program for exchanging multimedia files via the global p2p network. There is an included tracker for quickly locating required items. Please note that iMesh is obsolete and no longer supported by the developer.

Main capabilities

After installing the utility users can launch it by running the corresponding executable file. The main window contains tabs with the media library, internet radio station, social features and a search page for discovering new content.

You are able to search for music, video clips, documents, archives, applications and other files. Results are sortable by name, size, creation date and other attributes.

Similar to Ares Galaxy, users can open media files in the included player.

Configuration

The Preferences menu allows you to adjust several network parameters. It is possible to limit the maximum downloading speed for freeing up the bandwidth. There is a checkbox for toggling smart traffic management.

Advanced torrent settings are available. Users are able to manually change the listening port or select one randomly by clicking the corresponding button. Sound and tray notifications can be customized as well.
