Imagicon is an easy-to-use program for Windows that enables users to convert a large number of files to and from ICO, PNG, JPG or BMP image formats. Thanks to the batch mode support, it is possible to process multiple items at once.

Interface and configuration

The software features a simple graphical user interface. The design consists of a small window in which you are able to add pictures via the file browser or the drag-and-drop method.

In the Options menu, you have the ability to configure the saving mode. Thus, you can choose the output format and quality, along with the file name. Additionally, you are able to specify the output path and reset settings to their default values.

Adjust image and apply filters

What is more, you can modify photos by using a slider or pixel dimension, by flipping their orientation or by applying a black and white filter. It is necessary to mention that the icon setting may also be changed when it comes to size and transparency. If you want to create your own, you may use IconArt. Last but not least, you have the option to change the color of the tool’s background.

Performance and summary

The application relies on a low to moderate amount of system resources and comes equipped with a detailed Help file. During the testing stage we have not experienced any issues like system freezes or crashes.
