Image2GCode is a Windows software that allows users to prepare pictures for laser burning. It is possible to adjust the speed, power, acceleration, shift and other parameters. The resulting file is compatible with a wide variety of hardware.

Photo processing

After importing the image you can tune its attributes such as the sharpen force, brightness, contrast and gamma. There are buttons for flipping and rotating the picture to better fit the layout. Additionally, you are able to choose one of the provided dithering methods for noise reduction. All changes are displayed in the preview section. It is possible to further modify the image in Ulead Photo Express or other similar utility.

Laser parameters

The minimum distance, white speed, air assist and other advanced hardware parameters are available. Moreover, users can control the velocity and acceleration for achieving the best results. There is a gradient diagram for adjusting the speed depending on the color. The number of laser passes is customizable.

When the project is ready you are able to either save it as a G-code file or send it directly to the machine for burning.
