IdleRGB is a Windows application that is intended to enhance the experience of Corsair RGB peripheral owners by dynamically adjusting lighting effects based on user activity. It is possible to conserve energy and reduce distractions.

Automated device control

The utility detects keyboard and mouse input, switching off the LEDs on compatible peripherals after a preconfigured idle period. Additionally, there is an option to change the color scheme by pressing CapsLock. A checkbox to run IdleRGB on system startup is provided as well, which is critical for constant system monitoring.

Certain keys are not modified to preserve important visual indicators. They include:

Media controls;
Brightness LEDs on some devices;
Win Lock, etc.

Compatible hardware

While officially tested only with the K70 Keyboard and Scimitar Mouse, the software should work fine with any other Corsair peripheral supported by the CUE SDK. It is strongly recommended to update internal device drivers in case of potential technical issues or conflicts. Please note that other solutions with similar functionality such as Corsair Link are available for download.
