iCorrect Portrait is a plugin for the graphics editor Adobe Photoshop. It allows you to finetune the white balance of the photos as well as sharpen them.

Installation

The utility comes in the form of a ZIP archive. After extracting the package users can copy the file to the Plugins folder in the main Photoshop directory. There are 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the tool available for the corresponding operating systems.

Included instruments

There are several options for improving the images provided in the plugin. You are able to correct the tonal range by automatically adjusting dark and light areas of the picture. Moreover, manual tuning of the overall brightness and contrast is possible.

Further color correction is possible in the Memory Colors menu. It contains the Neutrals and Skin buttons. Users can click on the first button to define the neutral colors on the image such as gray. The second button is utilized to improve the color of the skin tones on the picture. Experienced users are able to select additional colors to fine-tune the photo.

Tools for sharpening and reducing noise are included. You can configure the strength of the effects as well as the radius and threshold parameters for the noise removal. There are other plugins with similar functionality such as Beautify Panel.

Please note that iCorrect Portrait is a paid software. The free trial version leaves watermarks on the resulting image.
