HP Connection Manager is a Windows program for configuring Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. Users can adjust VPN parameters to browse the web anonymously. Moreover, there are tools for displaying system notifications when the network attributes are changed.

Connection options

You are able to forward internet traffic through the smartphone to the computer. It is necessary to connect the mobile device with a USB cable for enabling this functionality. The current network operator is displayed in the main window along with the signal strength indicator. There is a tool for sending SMS messages when the phone is attached to the desktop.

This application supports both Wi-Fi and wired connections. Users can choose the required network if there are several available options. Moreover, it is possible to establish a link with Bluetooth headphones, mice, keyboards and other wireless devices.

Please note that this utility does not contain tools for sharing Wi-Fi connections. There are other programs with this functionality like WiFi Sharing Manager.

Preferences

There are checkboxes for launching the app with Windows and hiding the main window on startup. You are able to configure system notifications for various network events and adjust VPN parameters. Options for automatically connecting to the internet on launch are provided.

It is worth noting that HP Connection Manager is an obsolete software and no longer supported by the developer.
