HexEdit is a Windows utility for editing raw hexadecimal values in any file. You are able to view the contents of damaged packages and try to recover data from them. There are powerful tools for searching and replacing specific values.

How it works

After starting the program users can import new items via the File menu or by dragging and dropping them into the workspace. HexEdit is able to open all types of binary packages.

The contents of the file are displayed in the HEX format, meaning that each byte is represented by two hexadecimal digits. Like in WinHex, you are able to edit or remove existing values as well as create new ones. Modified files can be saved to the original location or exported to another folder.
