HeidiSQL is an open source program for Windows that gives you the ability to manage MySQL and Microsoft SQL databases. The package includes a set of tools for writing queries and creating triggers. Connection setup

After installing the application, you need to select the parameters for connecting to the server where the database is located. In order to do this, you have to specify the network type and enter the appropriate host name. The corresponding tab displays connection statistics.

In addition, you have the possibility to save credentials for quick authorization. You are also able to create multiple user accounts and configure access rights.

Database management

The main goal of this software solution is to help you view and edit databases stored on the remote server. You can create new rows and queries, change indexes and foreign keys.
