HeavyLoad is a Windows application for validating various computer hardware to ensure that the PC can handle demanding workflows. Users are able to check the CPU, graphics card, RAM and storage devices. Moreover, it is possible to monitor the evaluation process in real time.

Test customization

You can tweak the amount of utilized processor cores and thread priority level, matching specific requirements. There is an option to choose the target GPU if necessary. A slider for allocating more system memory to the operation is included as well. This functionality is particularly helpful when dealing with legacy desktop configurations.

Similar to AIDA64, the overall test duration is adjustable. Users are able to run the evaluation continuously or end it after a predefined period of time, which is perfect for automating the process.

Benchmarking

Clicking the Start button begins the test. You can monitor resource usage in real time, including:

CPU utilization;
Memory consumption;
Disk activity.

After finishing all tasks the software will generate a comprehensive report containing key performance metrics and hardware specifications. Users may share output documents with other people for troubleshooting purposes.
