Headshot is a powerful Windows plugin for Character Creator that enables you to create realistic human models. It is also possible to customize the skin, body type and hair. The usage is somewhat similar to working on Unity projects.

Overview

With this extension package, you can generate 3D humans based on a single photo. In addition to intelligent texture blending and head mesh creation, the digital doubles also feature lip-syncing, facial expressions and full body animation.

The program contains two AI modes such as Pro and Auto. The first includes more than a thousand preset sculpting morphing tools as well as image mapping and reprojection instruments. This mode is primarily suited for producing faces with high-resolution textures.

If you choose the second option, you will be able to automatically create lower-res virtual heads with additional 3D hair. It is a good choice to create small and medium-sized crowds for movies or NPCs for 3D games.

Common design steps

First, you are able to import a photo of any real person. The AI will detect the human face and create 3D heads with naturally matching profile types. There are default choices for Caucasian, Asian and African races. Each one will be generated with subtle variations based on your source image. You can also adjust your model by picking the body type. The application selections provide male, female as well as gender neutral options.

Afterwards, you have the ability to pick from a wide array of skin presets for age, roughness, contour and facial hair. Moreover, you can choose the color to best match the photo or use the drop down menu to customize the beard and scalp combination.
