Guitar Pro is a program for Windows intended to serve as a comprehensive music editor. With the help of this utility, you are able to record musical compositions for guitar, banjo and many other instruments. It offers a considerable amount of tools designed for those who are professionally involved in making music.

Music editor

After launching the application, you can create a new track from scratch or base it on a preset template. You have the ability to edit musical scores for guitar, violin, cello, double bass, saxophone, piano, organ and more. In addition, you have the option to add lyrics and link them to the created tracks.

The software supports importing notes via MIDI controller, as well as from ASCII and MusicXML format. It is possible to edit the composition manually, change the bar width and divide the track into several sections. Moreover, you are able to adjust the tempo, volume and balance.

Playback
