GpsGate
GpsGate is a Windows software for sending the location data from a GPS device to multiple destinations. There are options for connecting the hardware over Bluetooth, ActiveSync and UDP networks.
How to use
This utility is intended for sending GPS coordinates to any compatible device via various protocols. You can connect a Garmin USB receiver to a laptop and upload the information over HTTP on a custom server for further distribution. The NMEA protocol is supported.
Output options
Users are able to share the coordinates with a wide variety of devices and applications using the virtual COM port functionality. It is possible to send the data to professional aviation and marine hardware as well as consumer-grade Garmin GPS navigators. Alternatively, there are options to import the information into Google Earth, Mobile Atlas Creator and other programs. TCP/IP protocol is supported as well.
Additional parameters
There is a checkbox to run this tool on system startup. Several instances of the app can be opened simultaneously for designing complex networks. You are able to share all settings between multiple user accounts.
