Goravani Jyotish is a comprehensive program for Windows that allows you to access an extensive database of both classic and modern Vedic texts, a complete reference book and a research module. If you want to design your own Vastu layout, you may use a special utility called Vedic Vaastu.

The reference book provides a Jyotish astrology tutorial, a glossary of terms, the entire text of Bhagavad Gita and detailed info on a number of Vedic topics, such as nakshatras, tithis and critical degrees. It also gives you the ability to look at what any planet, house or sign governs.

Overview

The application was designed to be easy to learn and use. Customization is simple, since all of the options may be accessed from the main window and clicking on some areas displays additional information. For example, if you press on a varga chart, it will show you what it signifies.

Goravani Jyotish generates pleasant and well-designed printouts of any Vedic software. The interpretive reports derived from seventeen texts, may be up to twenty-four pages in length. In addition, you have the option to omit negative delineations.

Additional notes

The powerful transit module shows a square biwheel with the transiting planets moving around the birth chart. The program also enables you to manually step through the transits in increments of one or more hours, days, weeks and years. It offers well-written interpretations of all of the transit-to-natal aspects and house ingress.
