Google Play Games is an official program for Windows developed by Google to serve as a dedicated game client. With the help of this utility, owners of desktop computers and laptops can run video games designed for mobile devices only.

Development progress

At the time of writing the review, the Beta testing phase is underway. Unfortunately, only players from Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea can participate. The official release of the client is scheduled for 2022. The exact publication date will depend on the region.

System requirements

To install the software, you need at least eight gigabytes of RAM and 20 gigabytes of free space on a solid state drive. In addition, it is recommended you use a gaming processor with support for hardware virtualization. Please note, the program is designed to be installed on computers running Windows 11 or 10.
