Google Dictionary is a Windows plugin for Chrome that allows you to instantly view the definition of any word on the page. There is support for multiple languages, which is particularly beneficial when encountering foreign content.

Main functionality

After installing the extension users can highlight the target term and click the corresponding icon in the browser toolbar to look up the definition. Alternatively, it is possible to receive a quick explanation in a pop up bubble. This eliminates the need to open a new tab or leave the current page.
