GFI FAXmaker is a Windows utility for working with digital faxes. Automatic unbound routing via email helps users ensure that the document will reach the correct recipient. It is possible to encrypt confidential data for preventing unauthorized access.

How it works

Like eFax Messenger, this software is intended for exchanging digital fax messages via modern communication channels such as email or web server. It is necessary to register an account on the official website to get a virtual phone number for receiving documents. The next step is to log into the main interface and configure advanced connection parameters.

You can transfer data via a POP3 or SMTP email protocol. Alternatively, there is an option to use the web client or flexible APIs for fax transmission.

Please note that the free trial version of GFI FAXmaker will expire after a 30 day evaluation period.

Fax database

It is possible to automatically convert scanned documents to the text form for easier search and information retrieval. Users are able to archive messages and maintain a large database. The list can be sorted by direction, date, sender, recipient, subject, amount of pages and other attributes.
