GetGo Download Manager is a Windows application for speeding up web downloads by splitting source files into smaller segments and using multiple connection threads. You can pause and resume individual jobs at any moment.

File downloads

After starting the program users are able to add new tasks to the queue by clicking the corresponding button in the main window and pasting the URL. There are tools for changing the default target directory, assigning a custom priority level and adding personal comments to the job. A toggle for selecting whether or not to begin the downloading process immediately is included as well.

Queue management

Similar to Internet Download Manager, you can sort the list of files by name, progress, status, size, priority, remaining time and many other attributes. Moreover, it is possible to view and adjust various task parameters.

Settings

There are predefined content categories like software, music, video and pictures. Users are able to create new groups for easier navigation according to personal preferences. Additionally, instruments for configuring advanced network parameters are provided.
