GeoVision IP Device Utility is a Windows application for working with surveillance cameras made by GeoVision. You can automatically detect all compatible devices connected to the local network environment and display their specifications such as IP address, MAC, firmware version and model name.

Batch configuration

The program enables users to simultaneously change the settings of multiple cameras, saving time and eliminating manual errors. This is especially advantageous when dealing with large surveillance networks containing hundreds of security appliances. There is an option to sort the list of identified devices by:

Name;
MAC address;
IP;
Serial number and other attributes.

Like in Axence NetTools, you are able to ping remote domains to verify network connectivity. Moreover, there are powerful port scanning capabilities for advanced troubleshooting.

Updates

It is easy to check the official server for new firmware releases and automatically install the latest version on each connected camera. Fresh editions often include performance improvements, new image optimization algorithms and bugfixes.
