GE Communicator is a Windows program that provides tools for interacting with industrial EPM meters. These devices measure electrical parameters such as voltage, current, energy and power quality with high degree of accuracy.

Monitoring

Using this utility you can keep track of all connected EPM meters. There are instruments for analyzing the harmonics and configuring custom notifications in case of potential issues. Additionally, it is possible to remotely update active meters and manage multiple devices simultaneously.

Advanced parameters like the time of use, I/O status and power limits are included. Users are able to download data logs from the internal device memory to the computer.

Reports

Similar to LiveWire, you can view detailed log records and capture basic waveforms. Tools for plotting graphs and identifying trending values are provided as well. Several advanced visualization functions are available.

There is an option to collect real time information from EPM meters and store the results in an Excel spreadsheet. Users can automatically send reports to a predefined email address at regular intervals.
