Galacticraft is a powerful mod for Minecraft that allows you to explore the Universe in your own spaceship. The package offers four new dimensions that are based on planets and satellites in the Solar System. These include, namely the Moon, Mars, Asteroids and a Space Station built by the player.

Brief review

In order to travel to space, you need to build a rocket using the NASA workbench. There are three tiers of interplanetary transport. The first one allows you to go to the Moon, Overworld and Space Station. The second will help you visit Mars, while the third grants access to the Asteroids. It is necessary to mention that crafting and flying rockets requires fuel refined from Oil.

Special functions

One of the most notable features of Galacticraft is the presence of gravity that affects the behavior of entities in your world. Generally speaking, the lower it is, the faster your body moves. For instance, on the Moon, your jump height will be about five and a half blocks, and on Mars, it is only three blocks.

Another interesting thing about this mod is the habitability meter that shows the probability of mobs spawning on the planet. It is possible to disable their appearance even if gravity is at medium level. Moreover, the program comes with APIs that you can use to add more content.
