Foxit Reader is a Windows tool for working with the files in Adobe PDF format. There are options for digital signing and sharing documents over the internet.

Viewing options

This utility offers you several parameters for improving the reading experience. It is possible to zoom in, rotate the pages and toggle autoscroll. Moreover, you can enable the Text-to-Speech tool that reads the text out loud.

Users are able to split the window in two or four parts to load several documents and work with them simultaneously. Every section has its own zoom and rotation settings.

There is a Night mode that inverts the colors in the PDF file. It can be helpful for reading in a dark room.

Additional capabilities

Text boxes with personal comments can be placed anywhere in the document. Additionally, users are able to draw circles, arrows and other shapes. Attaching external files is possible as well. However, this program does not allow users to modify the contents of a PDF file. There are other tools for this purpose such as Foxit PDF Editor.

You can highlight important parts of the text in any color. There are tools for measuring visual objects on the pages.

Several standard stamps are provided in the utility such as Accepted, Approved, Rejected, Expired, etc. Users are able to insert a scanned signature image into the document.
