FontFinder is a Windows program that is designed for analyzing text on imported photos to detect specific fonts. Both connected and fragmented letters are detected accurately. Additionally, there are flexible search parameters to help you refine the results and find the best possible matches.

Typeface identification

After starting the application users are instructed to upload the source picture containing target text. The next step is to select the expected visual style such as:

Bold;
Italic;
Underlined;
Striked out, etc.

Like in Find my Font, you can enter the text from the photo to improve the overall accuracy. Moreover, there is a checkbox for automatically interrupting the search if the precise match is located. The desired similarity threshold might be adjusted as well.

Results

It is possible to view the list of detected fonts ranked, with the most similar option on top. Clicking on the typeface name displays the preview to help users make the right decision.

Tools for skipping specific fonts during the operation are available. This enables you to blacklist unwanted typefaces, speeding up the overall process.
