Focus Magic is a Windows program for automatically removing the shake effect from blurred images. There is a Photoshop plugin that is installed alongside the standalone version of the software.

Deblurring process

After importing the picture into the workspace you can select the required filtering mode. The first one is Auto-Focus. It is helpful for slightly unsharp photos. However, for more severe cases there is an option to fix the motion blur by specifying its direction and distance.

Users are able to double or quadruple the input resolution by applying various upscaling algorithms. Instruments for reducing the halo effect are included. Moreover, it is possible to convert the currently opened photo to grayscale mode. Users can access detailed EXIF metadata as well.

It is important to mention that the free demo version of Focus Magic will stop working after processing 10 pictures. A valid license key is necessary to remove this restriction.

Noise removal

There are tools for reducing the amount of digital noise in the image. You can adjust the processing intensity to preserve small details.

Supported output file formats include JPG, PNG, BMP and TIFF.
