FilterPro is a Windows software oriented toward electrical engineers. It allows you to create active filters for printer circuit boards. There is support for the multiple-feedback and Sallen-Key topologies. It is possible to automatically calculate required voltages and other physical properties.

Filter settings

After starting the application users are prompted to select the filter type. Available options include lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch and allpass. The next step is to enter the gain, passband frequency, allowable ripple and stopband attenuation values. There is an option to set a custom filter order. Moreover, it is possible to plot several types of response graphs.

Schematics

This utility provides the list of electrical components required to construct the project. You can view the physical properties of every element. The Data tab provides a detailed spreadsheet with possible frequency responses. There is information about group delays and phases as well.

Like in PCB Wizard, users are able to generate and print the design report. It includes all specifications, response data and the bill of materials. This information can be forwarded to the manufacturing facility for producing the board.
