File Splitter and Joiner is a Windows application for splitting and merging back any files. The interface is simple and straightforward.

Splitting files

After starting the program you can select the item for splitting in the first tab. The default destination folder is set automatically in the same directory as the original. It is possible to specify another target location. There is a text field for entering the required size of every resulting piece in megabytes or kilobytes. You can click the Split button to begin the operation. The progress bar at the bottom of the main window indicates when the process is complete.

Joiner

This section contains instruments for merging previously split files. Users are prompted to specify the path to the first piece of the resulting item to begin the operation. The destination folder is customizable. Alternatively, users can utilize WinRAR for joining the files.

Additional functionality

You are able to calculate the checksum for any item. It is recommended to send this information along with the data. This way the recipient can test information integrity after downloading the files.
