Extra Utilities is an extensive mod for Minecraft that adds an assortment of random items and blocks which can be very useful. For example, you may place low-lag pumps and quarries, power, fluid and item transport pipes, mob traps, and much more.

Generate power and improve blocks

The program provides alternative RF generators that consume fuel ranging from coal to food, Nether stars and even pink dye. Moreover, there is a special peaceful mode that enables you to craft required materials using a special recipe.

Another advantage of using this modification is the possibility to compress cobblestone, sand, gravel and dirt. It may be processed eight times with septuple and octuple blocks being resistant to the Wither. Dirt is compressible up to four times, whereas sand and gravel can only be pressed twice.

Additional notes

The mod offers low-lag alternatives to the quarry and pump through the Ender quarry and Ender-thermic pump respectively. It also adds a fast cobblestone generator alternative, in the form of a transfer node with a mining upgrade.

One of the secondary objectives of the modpack gives you access to convenient methods for doing various normally high-lag tasks. If you want to add new recipe-viewing mechanics, you may use another modification called Craftguide.
