ERWin is a Windows software for constructing database models. There are tools for creating and documenting business processes. Similar to Borland Delphi, this program is helpful for developing new applications.

Modeling options

The main purpose of this app is creating conceptual and logical models of any databases regardless of the underlying technology. Users can visualize complex project structures with all interconnections between the elements.

During the building process you are able to add new blocks to the workspace and link them together. Lines and arrows symbolize actions that are required for achieving the final result.

Analysis tools

Another useful feature is calculating the amount of time and system resources necessary to develop the application. There are instruments for marking the work progress on the diagram and appointing employees responsible for different project stages.

Users can create model templates to speed up the construction process. Additionally, a library of sample diagrams is provided. Tools for evaluating work performance are available. It is possible to build and export detailed reports.
