This plugin for the World of Warcraft computer game is intended for fairly distributing the loot among guild members after a raid based on a priority system.
EPGP
EPGP is a Windows software for integrating a modification into World of Warcraft. It automatically assigns effort points (EP) and gear points (GP) to each guild member after a boss fight. The resulting loot is dispersed across all participants based on their contribution.
Priority system
The order in which party members receive the rewards is determined by comparing their EP and GP numbers. Effort points are earned through various activities such as being on time for raids, participating in battles and achieving boss kills. Every item is automatically given a specific gear point value based on its stats, level and advanced attributes.
Other WoW mods for quickly estimating gear value like GearScore are available for download.
Additional functionality
Users can send loot distribution notifications to all raid members when a new item is dropped, allowing them to indicate interest in the gear. The Master Looter receives the resulting list of choices sorted by player priority level and makes a final decision.
Detailed information about EP and GP values of all guild members is displayed in the main EPGP window. This way players can ensure fairness and transparency during the loot distribution process.
