Enterprise Architect is a Windows utility for building business process models, creating custom applications and designing structural schemes. Like StarUML, it contains a visual programming platform based on the Unified Modeling Language technology.

This software provides several project templates. All interactions are performed in the constructor mode. Users can drag logical blocks to the workspace and configure connections between separate elements.

There are instruments for constructing complex business models and planning all stages of the product development cycle. You are able to monitor completion progress and assign tasks to different workers.

The application is oriented toward business analysts and corporate managers. Multiple industrial and infrastructure standards are fully supported. Additionally, there is an integrated development environment that includes a debugger and code editor.

Dynamic modeling

Users can emulate the project development cycle to detect errors and inefficiencies. It is possible to create behavioral models with several triggers. Instruments for writing automation scripts are provided as well.
