EndNote is a Windows software for finding scientific references and automatically creating citation links. Users can add original sources to the existing collection and group texts by type for easier navigation.

Main purpose

A well-sourced citation database is critical for any modern scientific book or article. This application contains instruments for organizing your source library. The contents can be sorted by author, year, title, creation timestamp and reference type. This functionality is helpful for managing large databases.

New entries can be added from the File menu. Users are able to attach images, video clips and other media content to the article. There are tools for exporting separate entries and sending them via email.

Search parameters

Similar to JabRef, this utility contains a powerful module for locating citations in the database. You can filter search results by keywords, type of work, title and many other attributes. It is possible to scan the whole library or select specific categories.
