Driver Sweeper is a Windows app that helps you delete damaged, old or unused drivers for a wide range of computer hardware. There are instruments for scanning the system to automatically detect all problematic packages.

How it works

After starting the software users can view the list of installed drivers. The next step is to select required items and click the Analyze button. Detailed information about all associated registry records and files on the hard drive will be displayed in the main window.

It is possible to quickly erase all unwanted items by clicking the Clean button. This way you can prepare the system for an update or fix various hardware errors.

Management tools

Like in Device Doctor, users are able to backup individual drivers before deleting them. Saved copies can be quickly restored later in case of technical issues. Moreover, there is a history log with information about all performed operations.

Preferences

The Options panel allows you to change the interface language and visual theme. Additionally, checkboxes for toggling warning messages before cleaning and automatically creating driver backups are available.
