Dramatica Pro is a Windows software oriented toward fiction writers. It is possible to add multiple characters, plot progression points and other story elements. Users can create a custom dictionary with the list of places, people and events.

First steps

After starting the application you are prompted to open one of the provided example scenarios or begin a new one from scratch. The first step is to create main characters. There are configurable parameters like the name, role, gender, type, special identification and personal description. Moreover, you can add custom motivations and other attributes to the character.

Programs like StoryBoard Artist can help users visualize new screenplays and prepare them for live acting.

Please note that the free demo version of Dramatica Pro does not allow you to save or print the results. It is necessary to purchase a license key to remove all restrictions.

Plot progression

There is an option to view all story points in the form of a table. Users are able to change character behavior based on the current events. Instruments for tuning relationship dynamics between different story participants are provided as well.
