Dolby Advanced Audio is a Windows program for adjusting audio settings. It supports several technologies such as Dolby Digital Plus, Virtual Speaker and Dolby Headphone. Users can create custom audio profiles for music, games, movies, etc.

Equalizer

After starting the utility you can manually tune individual sound frequencies with the help of the included multi-band equalizer. Similar to Graphic Equalizer Studio, there is an option to normalize the volume.

Profiles

Users are able to save up to 6 custom profiles with different equalizer settings. A collection of standard presets for different music genres like pop, rock, punk, jazz and classic is provided as well.

It is necessary to right-click the tray icon to change the current profile. You can manually edit the 20-band spectrum change curve. Dynamic correction parameters that are required for achieving the desired sound effect are displayed in real time.

Additional functionality

This software contains a specter visualization module. It is helpful for viewing detailed information about the audio levels in a wide frequency range.

The Dolby Headphone technology lets users emulate a surround sound experience when listening to audio through headphones.
