DJ ProMixer is a Windows program for aspiring and professional DJs that allows you to play and mix audio files.

Main functions

Free version offers almost all functionality with some restrictions. With DJ ProMixer you can easily set up the playlist for the event and have all the necessary effects and samples ready to use. There are two tracks with sound wave graphs for mixing and recording music. Many professional DJ controllers from Hercules, Pioneer etc. are compatible with this tool.

Interface

Interface layout is standard for this kind of program. It offers two decks and two big wheels for playback speed control. There are also smaller wheels for gain, high, mid and low frequencies. Sampler has 6 customizable slots. Moreover, it is possible to apply different effects to the music. You can easily add and delete audio tracks from the playlist thanks to the built-in file browser.

In addition, there is an option to make the interface more minimalistic if you do not need some of the controls. You can choose how much system resources will be used by the program – that might be helpful for mid and low-end computers.

Additional options

Free version has the following limitations:

usage of MIDI / HID devices;
recording time;
does not allow complex audio configuration.
