DJ Mix Master is a Windows utility that helps users mix music tracks. There are controls for tempo, pitch and volume.

Main functionality

This tool lets you play audio files in several popular formats such as MP3, WMA, WAV and OGG. There is a button for mixing the current track with the next one. It provides a smooth transition between the songs.

It is possible to create a custom playlist. Users are able to add any files to it as well as delete them. Additionally, there is an option to automatically scan the hard drive for the music. This way users can form a playlist that contains every song available on the computer.

The playback speed can be adjusted with the Tempo slider. Pitch settings are provided as well. Moreover, the mixing interval from 2 to 14 seconds can be set. The Master Volume slider lets you precisely control how loud the music is.

Provided samples

Users have access to a large selection of audio clips. The categories include scratches, shouts, scats, animal sounds, cartoons, transportation and laughter. It is possible to import new files into the library.

You can click the sample name to immediately apply it to the music. The volume of the effect can be adjusted independently from the main track.

Please note that this utility is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. There are modern alternatives available for download such as DJ ProMixer.

It is worth mentioning that DJ Mix Master is a paid software. The free trial version has playback time limitations.
