DirLister is a Windows program intended for quickly listing files and folders on your desktop. It is possible to include additional information like size, modification date and media tags into resulting documents.

How it works

With the help of this software users can scan specific directories to generate detailed listings of nested folder structures. Moreover, there is an option to filter unwanted items based on specific attributes such as:

Extension;
Name;
Size, etc.

Unlike in Karen’s Directory Printer, you are able to process multiple locations simultaneously. This might save a lot of time and effort, streamlining repetitive operations. All activity is logged to ensure easy troubleshooting in case of potential issues.

Output parameters

The default destination folder for generated documents is customizable. Additionally, users can choose the preferred target format, including HTML, TXT, CSV, XML, JSON, etc. There is a checkbox for instantly opening the output file after creation. It is possible to integrate DirLister into Windows Shell as well, enabling access to all functions through the Explorer context menu.
