DirEttore is a Windows program oriented toward professional radio DJs. There are instruments for mixing audio tracks, adjusting the output volume and cueing the next song. Users can insert commercials and custom announcements into the playlist. Please note that the free demo version of DirEttore contains limited functionality.

Main purpose

With the help of this utility you can create an automated radio station on the desktop. Like in ZaraRadio, it is possible to add audio files in several common formats to the queue. There are four mixing tracks for combining songs together. You are able to apply fade in and fade out effects to ensure seamless transitions.

Playback parameters

The Configuration menu contains checkboxes for enabling automatic cueing and displaying overall duration of the playlist. Additionally, users can customize the default mix point and change the fade type.

An option to set the minimum distance between identical tracks in the queue is provided. This feature is helpful for preventing frequent repeats. Moreover, there is a checkbox for enabling artist separation control to avoid the same performer being played too often.
