Direct Guitar is a Windows utility for integrating audio samples into the Kontakt and KOMPLETE KONTROL applications from Native Instruments. The collection includes hundreds of WAV files with pre recorded sounds. Users are able to choose from different guitar and amplifier models.

How to install

After downloading the archive you can extract its contents to the Plugins folder in the main program directory. There is support for different digital audio workstations from Native Instruments. The provided NKM file is necessary for integrating the samples.

Main purpose

Users are able to create unique sounds by combining various guitar and amplifier models. Moreover, it is possible to customize the sample by adding effects like reverb, distortion, echo and delay.

There are tools for tuning physical guitars. You can continuously play individual notes and adjust the strings to match the tone.

This software allows users to record music directly to the hard drive. Instruments for practicing guitar playing on a low volume without disturbing other people are provided as well.
