Digital Rescue Premium is a handy program for Windows which presents a solution in case you have lost or accidentally deleted files from your computer or email client. It comes equipped with an intuitive graphical interface, providing quick access to all available functions.

Recover lost files

The software examines the underlying data on your hard drive aiming to identify residual traces of recoverable information. It is possible to pick which storage device to scan as well choose the file types, namely pictures, music, videos, and documents.

By default, the tool will report every item it can find on your disk. You are also able to speed up this process and make the final list much shorter by specifying the name or extension. Alternatively, you may try a similar program called Recover My Files.

Restore emails

To recover lost emails, you need to press the corresponding option in the main menu. The next step is to select the preferred email application, either Outlook or Outlook Express. Please note that the procedure can create temporary files on your system drive which could overwrite the items you wish to get back.

The utility looks for your main email databases from registry locations on your PC. If it does not find them, you can manually provide their directories by clicking the Browse for Database button. You may also drag and drop databases onto the selection window.
