DFX Audio Enhancer is a Windows utility for improving the sound quality. Users are able to tune individual frequencies and change the volume. It is possible to create separate configurations for different players and applications.

Audio settings

After installing the program you can select the primary output device like speakers or headphones. The next step is to configure playback settings by adjusting the sliders in the main window. Like in Dolby Digital Plus, there are tools for creating the surround sound effect and automatically improving music quality. A dynamic boost option is provided as well.

Users are able to tune the fidelity and ambience parameters. Additionally, there is an included equalizer for regulating low, mid and high frequencies.

Custom profiles

The application allows you to create several sound configurations and assign them to different programs. It is possible to export premade presets to a single file. This functionality is helpful for transferring audio settings from one computer to another.

Multiple interface themes are provided. Users can configure the app to automatically start along with the operating system.
