Desktop Icon Toy is a Windows utility for managing icons on the desktop. It is possible to hide text titles and add animation effects. Additionally, you can arrange all icons in a circle, square, ellipse and other shapes.

Main functionality

This application contains tools for organizing desktop icons in various ways. There are options to quickly place the items in different layouts. Alternatively, users are able to create custom arrangements and save them.

It is easy to align all icons to the left, right, top or bottom border of the screen. The default layout can be restored from the corresponding menu.

Please note that this software offers only limited interface customization capabilities. There are more powerful utilities like Ultimate Windows Tweaker.

Additional parameters

There is an option to hide all icons when the mouse cursor is moved away from the desktop. You can lock certain items in place so they will be unaffected by any layout changes. It is possible to enable animation effects for personalizing the interface even further.

Settings

Users are able to configure tray icon actions as well as display or hide certain context menu elements. Moreover, there are mouse gesture options for quick alignment and layout changes. Keyboard shortcuts can be assigned and edited in the Hotkey section.
