Dell CinePlayer is a Windows utility for watching movies recorded on optical discs. Supported formats include DVD Video, DVD VR and DVD RAM. You can enable text subtitles and configure several audio parameters as well.

Playback

The program is capable of automatically detecting the disc in the optical drive and opening the player window. Moreover, users can load DVD movies from a directory or ISO file on the hard drive.

There are standard buttons for starting, pausing and stopping the movie. Alternatively, you are able to control the playback with customizable keyboard shortcuts.

Dell CinePlayer provides a high quality viewing experience. The video quality can be automatically adjusted according to the system performance and screen resolution. Users are able to enhance the audio output with Dolby Digital and DTS sound effects as well.

It is important to mention that this app is compatible only with some models of Dell computers. You can download AVS DVD Player to watch DVD movies on any PC.

Configuration

The Settings menu lets users choose the default language for audio and subtitles. It is possible to change the amount of speakers to match the hardware. There is an option to enable automatic playback when the new DVD is detected.
