CyberMotion 3D Designer is a Windows utility for designing complex three-dimensional objects. There is a collection of geometric primitives and geographical landscape templates that helps users generate photorealistic scenes. It is important to note that the free version of the app will stop functioning after a 30-day trial period.

How to use

After starting the program you can open one of the existing projects or begin the design process from scratch. It is possible to manually create custom 3D models from points and curved lines.

Users are able to select one of the included landscape templates to begin constructing the scene. Several terrain types such as canyon, dunes, moon and island are provided. Moreover, there are sliders for adjusting internal landscape properties like the amount of valleys, peaks, fractures and other elements.

Rendering process

Like Artlantis, this software allows you to tune lighting parameters for achieving more realistic results. The ambient brightness intensity, skydome contrast and other settings are configurable. Advanced global illumination options for precise photon mapping are provided.

There are tools for converting finished scenes to AVI animations or static images. Supported output formats include JPG, BMP, PNG, TGA and TIFF. Additionally, users can extract Alpha and Delta channels to 8-bit video clips.
