CryptBox is a Windows application that lets users protect confidential documents, images, audio tracks and other files located on the computer to prevent malicious actors from stealing them. Similar to Bitdefender, it employs robust encryption algorithms to guarantee the safety of target information.

Safe creation

It is possible to configure one or several protected folders on the hard drive that can be accessed only after entering the correct password. You can interact with these virtual safes just as with any other drive partition. Moreover, there are tools to set the maximum directory size or enable dynamic resizing.

Users are able to import previously created safes, which is particularly beneficial when migrating to a new PC. Drive letters for each encrypted folder are adjustable to suit personal preferences. Additionally, the contents of USB Flash sticks may be safeguarded and hidden.

Program settings

You can change the desired interface language from the drop down menu. Available options include:

There is a button to manually search for an updated version on the official website. Furthermore, users are able to configure regular automatic checks.
